Communication: conference call and walkie-talkie

Communication is crucial during an emergency to quickly create a shared understanding and coordinate actions. MultiBel offers two communication channels: the walkie-talkie app and the conference call. Each channel has its own specific advantages and disadvantages, but they also share a key benefit: no additional hardware is required. Communication takes place via smartphones, so employees no longer need to carry an extra walkie-talkie.

Advantages walkie-talkie app

The walkie-talkie app can be used 24/7 and uses data, mobile and / or WIFI. The users can select the desired channel, check in and communicate. It works just like a traditional walkie-talkie. Only 1 person can speak at a time and users have to press a button to speak, push-to-talk.

Advantages conference call

The conference call is often used as a means of communication for crisis teams. Small groups that consult together during a crisis. It is possible to talk at the same time in order to reach a decision as quickly as possible. The conference call does not depend on the internet and also works on a telephony basis. This also allows you to communicate during an internet outage.
