Zorgmedewerkers werken steeds vaker alleen, in onvoorspelbare situaties en bij cli\u00ebnten achter de voordeur, waar directe ondersteuning ontbreekt.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p>Voorbeelden tonen aan dat geweld tegen zorgverleners geen nationaal ge\u00efsoleerd probleem is, maar zich in meerdere Europese zorgstelsels structureel voordoet. Zie voor onderbouwing de cijfers onderin dit artkel.<\/p>\n<h2>Extra risico voor ambulante zorg en jeugdbescherming<\/h2>\n<p>Medewerkers in de jeugdbescherming, wijkverpleging en GGZ lopen een verhoogd risico. Ze maken samen een wandeling in het stadspark met de hond van de cli\u00ebnt. Aanvankelijk verloopt het contact rustig, maar gedurende het gesprek verandert het gedrag van de cli\u00ebnt abrupt. De cli\u00ebnt wordt achterdochtig, wantrouwend en beschuldigend en raakt zichtbaar geagiteerd. De spanning neemt snel toe wanneer de cli\u00ebnt begint te schreeuwen en dreigende bewegingen maakt. Tijdens de zorgverlening mengt een familielid zich in het gesprek. De emoties lopen op wanneer er onenigheid ontstaat over de zorgaanpak. Het familielid wordt verbaal agressief en verhoogt de druk op de wijkverpleegkundige door te schreeuwen en intimiderend dichtbij te komen staan. Tijdens het gesprek wordt duidelijk dat de ouder zich onder druk gezet voelt. De emoties lopen op en de ouder reageert steeds feller op vragen en opmerkingen. De situatie slaat om wanneer de ouder agressief wordt, luid begint te schreeuwen en de medewerker verbaal bedreigt. De <b data-path-to-node=\"0\" data-index-in-node=\"147\">DBfK<\/b> (Duitse beroepsvereniging voor verpleegkundigen) stelt dat geweld niet langer als een individueel risico van de verpleegkundige moet worden gezien, maar als een structureel probleem dat de werkgever moet oplossen.<\/p>\n<p>Er wordt gesproken over het inbrengen van een plan met 3 pijlers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>preventie<\/strong>: risicoanalyse, bouwkundige maatregelen (noodknoppen, verlichting, vluchtwegen, glazen barrieres bij balie) en de-escalatietraining<\/li>\n<li><strong>interventie<\/strong>: duidelijke protocollen (wie wordt gewaarschuwd, wanneer politie inschakelen), inzet beveiliging<\/li>\n<li><strong>nazorg<\/strong>: psychologische ondersteuning, juridische bijstand, meldsysteem (waarin incidenten worden vastgelegd)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In Nederland zijn werkgevers volgens de Arbeidsomstandighedenwet (Arbowet) verplicht medewerkers te beschermen tegen psychosociale arbeidsbelasting, waaronder agressie en geweld. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rijksoverheid.nl\/onderwerpen\/arbeidsomstandigheden\/agressie-en-geweld-op-het-werk\">Rijksoverheid \u2013 Agressie en geweld op het werk<\/a>.
