MultiBel offers system availability of up to 99.95 percent. This ensures that the system is always operational and that critical notifications can be delivered reliably.
If your organisation uses presence registration, the app will periodically check whether it is connected to the customer’s Wi-Fi network or located within the customer’s geofence. iOS and Android require apps that run continuously in the background to be displayed in the top-left corner. This is not ideal — we find it annoying as well, but with the current operating systems, we cannot avoid it.
Many other apps have the same issue, for example the widely used Flitsmeister. It is either this inconvenient notification or the inability to alert based on presence. If you do not use presence registration, this message will not appear.
Yes, MultiBel Professional offers a 24/7 emergency number for urgent technical issues or critical support. Our support team is available day and night to ensure the operational readiness of the platform.

During the implementation, we conduct a detailed configuration meeting with you in which we discuss your current setup, which people, roles and scenarios need to be included in the system, and how the communication channels should be configured.
Based on this information, we configure the MultiBel system so that it aligns seamlessly with your business processes and is ready for immediate use. This ensures that all settings and processes are correctly defined within the system.
In addition, we support you with the configuration of hardware and settings to guarantee a smooth start with your MultiBel system.
MultiBel is designed so that alerts are delivered reliably even when a stable internet connection is not available.
Thanks to multiple layers of redundancy, MultiBel can reach your employees through various communication channels, not only through the app but also via a phone call or SMS.
In this way, we ensure that critical alarm notifications always get through, even if mobile data fails or no Wi-Fi is available.
This redundancy is an essential part of the MultiBel system and guarantees that your alerting works under all circumstances.
You can reach us for support by email at support@multibel.nl or by using the contact form.
Our support team is available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 17:00.
In addition, we offer MultiBel Professional administrators the option to contact us via the emergency phone support, which is available 24/7. The phone number can be found in the adminstration portal.
No, MultiBel is not a tracking system. Location detection within our lone worker protection is only used in emergency situations to determine the exact location of an employee.
This function is intended solely for safety and not for continuous monitoring or surveillance.
MultiBel is available for iOS and Android devices and is fully compatible with the most recent versions of these operating systems. This ensures that all safety features can be used reliably. On some older devices or outdated operating systems, full functionality cannot be guaranteed. We therefore recommend using the app on a newer device for the best possible user experience.
To add a new administrator, log in to the MultiBel portal and navigate to the user settings. There, you can create new users and assign them administrator rights.
Yes, MultiBel is GDPR compliant. In addition, our platform holds several certifications, including:
• ISO 27001: certification for information security management
• K21047: certification for wireless silent alarm systems
• K21023: certification for mobile personal protection
These certifications confirm our commitment to the highest safety standards.
Access to your data in MultiBel is strictly controlled. Only authorised administrators and authorised users that you have designated can access your information. We implement role-based access controls to ensure that only authorised individuals have access to sensitive data.
MultiBel places great importance on data protection and information security. All personal data is processed and stored in accordance with the GDPR and ISO 27001. We use modern encryption technologies to protect your data both during transmission and at rest.
How can I stop receiving MultiBel notifications?
If you have left the company but are still receiving notifications, please contact your company’s administrator to have your user account deactivated. Alternatively, you can contact us directly so we can remove your account.
MultiBel is built on three central pillars:
- Alerting: for fast, reliable and multi-channel communication in emergency situations.
- Lone-worker protection: for the safety of employees working without direct colleagues nearby.
- Critical Event Management: for structured action and communication during critical situations.
Together, these three components form an integrated safety solution that enables organisations to cover all aspects of emergency and crisis management within a single platform. MultiBel combines all aspects of safety, communication, and responsiveness into a single, user-friendly solution.
In addition, MultiBel distinguishes itself through consistent redundancy. When triggering an alarm, reaching people, viewing results and ensuring server availability, we are never dependent on a single medium. As a result, we can guarantee a system availability of 99.95 percent, one of the highest in the market.
Another important advantage is that MultiBel is not an off-the-shelf standard solution. Our software is continuously developed, often based on direct customer feedback. Thanks to this flexibility, we can tailor MultiBel precisely to the needs of your organisation and implement a solution that is both technically reliable and practically applicable.

Yes, MultiBel clearly displays all active alarms in real time. Administrators and authorised users can monitor the status of alert notifications through our dashboard and coordinate actions effectively.
Scenarios in MultiBel are predefined alert procedures for typical emergency situations, such as fires, medical emergencies or aggression incidents. They save time because, in an emergency, users only need to select the appropriate scenario to activate the alert and quickly reach the right people.
For example, a workplace accident with injuries requires different responders and a different alert message than a full building evacuation. That is why we determine in advance, together with you, which scenarios are needed.
Afterwards, you can easily add an unlimited number of additional scenarios at any time.
Yes, when sending an alert, users can add additional important information, instructions or location details in a text field or record them as a voice message.

MultiBel only asks the app whether the employee is at the employer’s location. The answer is simply YES or NO. If the answer is NO, it does not ask where the employee actually is. MultiBel only wants to alert people who are present and able to help immediately in an emergency. If someone is not on site, their exact location is irrelevant.
You can decide yourself which users are allowed to see the presence of colleagues and who should be notified in case of staff shortages, for example only the leader of the emergency team.
Location services make it possible to identify, in an emergency, which employees are nearby and able to provide quick assistance. This makes the alerting process more effective and increases safety for everyone involved. The system automatically detects which employees are currently within the relevant operational area, based on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or geofencing. This is done without storing precise location data.
